About

The Short Version
I’m Jeremy Leff, and I’ve spent 30 years behind mixing consoles, on stages, and inside the technical guts of audio systems. By day, I’m a Solutions Architect at a major IT consulting firm. By Sunday (and plenty of other days), I’m the guy churches call when their sound isn’t working the way it should.
The Longer Story
My audio journey started the way a lot of great stories do: playing in bands. I’ve been a performing musician for most of my life, with baritone saxophone and guitar as my primary instruments. That experience gave me something that a lot of audio consultants lack. I know what it sounds like from the stage, not just from the booth. When I’m tuning a monitor mix or designing a system layout, I’m thinking about what the musicians and speakers actually need to hear to do their best work.
Over three decades, I’ve worked across live sound, studio recording, broadcast, and installed systems. I’ve done everything from running front-of-house for concerts to consulting on complex AV installations. That breadth of experience means I can spot problems that specialists sometimes miss, because I’ve seen how all the pieces connect.
Spending my days as a technology architect has put me in a unique position to understand the convergence of performance, technology, and people. I think in systems. I plan for scale. I document everything. When I assess your church’s audio setup, I’m not just listening for what sounds off today, I’m looking at your signal chain end-to-end, thinking about what your team can realistically manage, and planning for where your church is headed.
Why Churches?
I’ve been involved in church audio for years, and it’s the work that means the most to me. Churches face a unique challenge: the stakes for audio quality are high (people need to hear the message clearly, worship needs to feel immersive), but the teams running sound are usually volunteers with varying levels of experience. That combination creates a gap that I love helping to close.
I’m not here to sell you a $200,000 system when what you really need is two hours of EQ training with your sound team. I’ll always be straight with you about what will actually make a difference, and I’ll make sure your team understands why we’re making the changes we’re making. My goal is to make your sound better and your team more confident, so you don’t need me forever.

- I’m a proud Auburn University and Georgia Tech grad
- When I’m not working on audio or technology, you’ll probably find me on a mountain bike trail, smoking a brisket, attending a concert, or pulling espresso shots
